From Ebley
Crocinxeno publishes investment education for people in the UK who would rather understand the system than be sold a product. We work from 6 Bridge Mead, on the Stroudwater canal, because the work is quieter here than it is in a dealing room.
The UK gives ordinary savers unusually good tools — ISAs, pensions, a regulated platform market — and then explains them in a dialect of factsheets. We translate. We do not hold client money. We do not take commission on accounts you open. We do not pretend a calculator is a plan.
The name is a small joke we kept: crocin is the gold in saffron; xeno is the stranger. Investing is a foreign language until it isn't. The gold is patience, not a ticker.
Figures on the site are checked against HMRC and industry sources for the 2026/27 tax year. When policy is announced but not yet in force — the Cash ISA change planned for April 2027, the pension access age of 57 from April 2028 — we say so. We do not name "best" platforms. We describe fees, wrappers and habits.
If a page would only work as personal advice, we delete that page. If you need advice, use an FCA-authorised adviser; we will not impersonate one by email.
Ebley, on the edge of Stroud, Gloucestershire. Visitors by appointment.

Calum keeps the allowances honest. He reads the statutory instruments so you do not have to, and he is the reason the calculator never pretends to be a forecast.
